Animated Fanart - Kiki's Delivery Service

[ENG] Animated fanart of Ghibili Studio's Kiki's Delivery Service characters, using the Parallax effect in Blender Grease Pencil.

This was a personal project made after my first time watching the movie, back in 2021. The background was made by my husband and planned to fit the parallax effect, in a way that the closer the objects were from the main scene, the faster they would move and vice-versa.

The main idea for this little scene was to have Kiki, Jiji and Tombo on a casual ride when Kiki’s broom has a “glitch” and falls, like in the part of the movie where she gets back her powers and it fails from time to time.

Esse foi um projeto pessoal feito após minha primeira vez assistindo o filme, lá em 2021. A arte do cenário foi feita por meu esposo e planejada para entrar no efeito Parallax, onde os objetos mais próximos da cena principal se movem com mais velocidade e vice-versa.

A ideia principal para essa pequena cena era ter a Kiki, o Jiji e o Tombo em um passeio casual quando a vassoura da Kiki “buga” e cai, como na cena do filme onde ela recebe seus poderes de volta e a vassoura falha de tempos em tempos.
